Goliath challenged Israel daily, and the army froze in fear. David arrived with food for his brothers, remembered God’s past help, refused Saul’s armour, and met the giant with a sling and stones. David declared that the battle belonged to the Lord, struck Goliath, and Israel pursued the fleeing army.

جليات كان بيتحدى إسرائيل كل يوم والجيش واقف خايف. داود وصل بأكل لإخوته وافتكر مساعدة ربنا القديمة ورفض درع شاول وقابل العملاق بمقلاع وحجارة. أعلن إن الحرب للرب وضرب جليات وإسرائيل جري ورا الجيش الهارب.

The Bible Adventure

Goliath challenged Israel daily, and the army froze in fear. David arrived with food for his brothers, remembered God’s past help, refused Saul’s armour, and met the giant with a sling and stones. David declared that the battle belonged to the Lord, struck Goliath, and Israel pursued the fleeing army.

Read the passage slowly and notice the people’s words, choices, and consequences. The account teaches that faith faces frightening power by trusting the Lord who saves. God works truthfully within human history: He confronts evil, protects life, keeps covenant, and patiently calls people to trust and obedience.

This is not a distant tale or a moral slogan. It belongs to the one saving story that prepares for Jesus Christ. We receive the passage with reverence, ask what it reveals about God, and allow it to correct fear, pride, selfishness, or unbelief in our own lives.

دليل للوالدين

ما تشجعش الطفل يقلد السلاح أو يواجه شخص خطر لوحده. حوّل الشجاعة لطلب مساعدة وقول الحق ومقاومة التنمر بأمان. اقرأوا الآيات مع بعض، وسيبوا الطفل يحكي الترتيب بطريقته، واختموا بالتطبيق الأسبوعي بدل ما يكون الهدف حفظ معلومات بس.
