Ten men with leprosy stood at a distance and cried for mercy. Jesus told them to show themselves to the priests, and as they went they were cleansed. One, a Samaritan, saw that he was healed and returned glorifying God, falling at Jesus’ feet. Jesus noted that only this foreigner returned to give glory and sent him in peace.

The Bible Adventure
Ten men with leprosy stood at a distance and cried for mercy. Jesus told them to show themselves to the priests, and as they went they were cleansed. One, a Samaritan, saw that he was healed and returned glorifying God, falling at Jesus’ feet. Jesus noted that only this foreigner returned to give glory and sent him in peace.
Read the passage slowly and follow the setting, conflict, response, and outcome. Notice how it teaches that grateful faith returns to Christ and recognises mercy beyond social boundaries. God acts in real history: He reveals His Son, confronts evil, welcomes outsiders, heals bodies and souls, forms disciples, and calls people into repentance and love.
