Read the passage in context, notice the human response, and bring its call to prayer, worship, service, and faithful love in the Church today.
Read the passage slowly and follow the setting, conflict, response, and outcome. Notice how it teaches that the exalted Christ blesses His Church and sends witnesses in the Spirit’s power. God acts in real history: He reveals His Son, confronts evil, welcomes outsiders, heals bodies and souls, forms disciples, and calls people into repentance and love.
