Season 6 — Samuel, Saul, and David

Episode 75 of 91. Israel’s elders asked Samuel for a king like the surrounding nations. Their concern about corrupt leaders was real, but their desire also rejected God’s direct kingship. Samuel warned that royal power could take sons, daughters, land, and produce, yet the people insisted. شيوخ إسرائيل طلبوا من صموئيل ملك زي الشعوب اللي حواليهم. قلقهم من فساد القادة كان حقيقي، لكن رغبتهم كمان رفضت مُلك ربنا المباشر. صموئيل حذرهم إن سلطة الملك ممكن تاخد أولادهم وبناتهم وأرضهم ومحصولهم، لكنهم أصروا.

Episode 74 of 91. Israel carried the ark into battle as though the sacred object guaranteed victory, but the army was defeated and the ark captured. In Philistine cities, Dagon fell before it and plagues brought fear. The ark was returned with offerings, yet Israelites also learned that God’s holiness demands reverence. إسرائيل أخد التابوت للحرب كأن الحاجة المقدسة تضمن النصرة، لكن الجيش انهزم والتابوت اتاخد. في مدن الفلسطينيين، داجون وقع قدامه وضربات جابت خوف. رجعوا التابوت بتقدمات، وإسرائيل كمان اتعلم إن قداسة ربنا محتاجة مهابة.

Episode 73 of 91. Young Samuel served near Eli when God called his name at night. Three times Samuel assumed Eli was speaking. Eli finally recognised what was happening and taught him how to answer. Samuel listened, received a difficult message truthfully, and grew as a prophet whose words God confirmed. صموئيل الصغير كان بيخدم عند عالي لما ربنا ناداه بالليل. تلات مرات افتكر إن عالي بيناديه. عالي فهم في الآخر وعلمه يرد إزاي. صموئيل سمع وقبل رسالة صعبة بصدق وكبر كنبي ربنا ثبت كلامه.

Episode 72 of 91. Hannah carried deep grief because she had no child and was cruelly provoked. At the sanctuary she poured out her soul silently before God. Eli first misunderstood, then blessed her. God answered, Samuel was born, and Hannah faithfully brought him for lifelong service before singing praise to the Lord who lifts the lowly. حنة كانت شايلة حزن عميق لأنها ما عندهاش طفل وكانت بتتعرض لاستفزاز قاسي. في بيت الرب سكبت نفسها في صلاة صامتة. عالي فهمها غلط في الأول وبعدين باركها. ربنا استجاب واتولد صموئيل، وحنة وفّت نذرها وقدمته للخدمة وسبحت الرب اللي يرفع المتواضع.
