Saul hunted David, but twice David had the opportunity to kill him. In the cave David only cut Saul’s robe and later regretted even that dishonour. On another night he took Saul’s spear and water jar as evidence, then called from a safe distance and entrusted judgment to God.

The Bible Adventure

Saul hunted David, but twice David had the opportunity to kill him. In the cave David only cut Saul’s robe and later regretted even that dishonour. On another night he took Saul’s spear and water jar as evidence, then called from a safe distance and entrusted judgment to God.
