Magi from the East arrived in Jerusalem asking for the newborn King. Herod was troubled, and the city with him. Scripture scholars pointed to Bethlehem. The star led the Magi to the Child; they fell down, worshipped, and offered gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Warned in a dream, they returned home by another way and did not serve Herod’s plot.

Read the passage slowly and follow the setting, conflict, response, and outcome. Notice how it teaches that seeking truth leads the nations to worship Christ while power resists Him. God acts in real history: He reveals His Son, confronts evil, welcomes outsiders, heals bodies and souls, forms disciples, and calls people into repentance and love.
