Introduction | مقدمة

Cain became angry when God accepted Abel and his offering. God warned him that sin was crouching at the door and that he must rule over it. Cain ignored the warning, killed his brother, and then denied responsibility. God judged the violence yet placed a mark that restrained revenge.

قايين غضب لما ربنا قبل هابيل وتقدمته. ربنا حذره إن الخطية رابضة عند الباب وإنه لازم يسود عليها. قايين تجاهل التحذير وقتل أخوه وبعدين أنكر مسؤوليته. ربنا دان العنف لكنه حط علامة تمنع سلسلة الانتقام.

The Bible Adventure

Cain became angry when God accepted Abel and his offering. God warned him that sin was crouching at the door and that he must rule over it. Cain ignored the warning, killed his brother, and then denied responsibility. God judged the violence yet placed a mark that restrained revenge.

Read the passage slowly and notice the people’s words, choices, and consequences. The account teaches that jealousy must be faced before it grows into harm. God works truthfully within human history: He confronts evil, protects life, keeps covenant, and patiently calls people to trust and obedience.

This is not a distant tale or a moral slogan. It belongs to the one saving story that prepares for Jesus Christ. We receive the passage with reverence, ask what it reveals about God, and allow it to correct fear, pride, selfishness, or unbelief in our own lives.

Coptic Orthodox Teaching

Abel’s righteous blood points toward Christ, whose sprinkled blood speaks mercy and reconciliation. Repentance names sin honestly and seeks healing before anger rules the heart.

In the Church, Scripture is heard within worship, prayer, the sacraments, and the faith handed down from the apostles. Typology does not erase the historical account; it shows how God patiently prepares His people for the fullness revealed in Christ.

دليل للوالدين

اتكلم عن العنف من غير تفاصيل مخيفة، وعلّم الطفل يطلب مساعدة شخص كبير لما الغضب يبقى خطر. اقرأوا الآيات مع بعض، وسيبوا الطفل يحكي الترتيب بطريقته، واختموا بالتطبيق الأسبوعي بدل ما يكون الهدف حفظ معلومات بس.
