Episode 130 of 163. Joseph discovered that Mary was pregnant before they lived together. Being righteous and unwilling to shame her, he planned to end the betrothal quietly. In a dream an angel called him son of David, explained the Holy Spirit’s work, and told him to take Mary as his wife. Joseph woke and obeyed, giving the child the name Jesus. يوسف عرف إن مريم حبلى قبل ما يعيشوا مع بعض. لأنه بار ومش عايز يفضحها، فكر ينهي الخطوبة بهدوء. في حلم ملاك ناداه يا ابن داود وشرح عمل الروح القدس وقال له ياخد مريم مراته. يوسف قام ونفذ وأعطى الطفل اسم يسوع.

Episode 129 of 163. Elizabeth gave birth, and neighbours rejoiced. At the naming ceremony Zacharias wrote, ‘His name is John,’ and his speech returned. Filled with the Holy Spirit, he praised God for visiting and redeeming His people and spoke of his son as the prophet who would go before the Lord. John grew and became strong in spirit. أليصابات ولدت والناس حوالين البيت فرحوا. وقت التسمية زكريا كتب «اسمه يوحنا» فرجع له الكلام. اتملى من الروح القدس وسبح ربنا اللي افتقد شعبه وصنع فداء، وقال إن ابنه هيبقى نبي يمشي قدام الرب. يوحنا كبر وتقوى بالروح.

Episode 128 of 163. Mary hurried to the hill country and greeted Elizabeth. John leapt in Elizabeth’s womb, and she was filled with the Holy Spirit. Elizabeth blessed Mary and the fruit of her womb. Mary answered with the Magnificat, praising God who looks on the lowly, lifts the humble, feeds the hungry, and keeps His covenant mercy. مريم راحت بسرعة لبلاد الجبال وسلمت على أليصابات. يوحنا نط في بطن أمه وهي اتمـلت من الروح القدس. أليصابات باركت مريم وثمرة بطنها. مريم ردت بتسبحة عظمت فيها ربنا اللي بيبص للمتضعين ويرفع المتواضعين ويشبع الجعانين ويفتكر رحمته.

Episode 127 of 163. Gabriel came to Nazareth and greeted Mary as highly favoured. He announced that she would conceive Jesus, the Son of the Highest, by the Holy Spirit. Mary asked how this could be, listened to the answer, and freely said she was the Lord’s maidservant. The eternal Word took flesh in her, beginning the mystery of the Incarnation. جبرائيل جه الناصرة وسلم على مريم كمن نالت نعمة. أعلن لها إنها هتحبل بيسوع ابن العلي بالروح القدس. مريم سألت إزاي ده يحصل وسمعت الإجابة وقالت بحرية إنها أمة الرب. الكلمة الأزلي أخد جسد منها، وبدأ سر التجسد.

Episode 126 of 163. Zacharias and Elizabeth were righteous yet carried the pain of childlessness. While Zacharias served in the temple, the angel Gabriel announced that their prayer had been heard and that John would be born to prepare people for the Lord. Zacharias struggled to believe, received a temporary sign, and later praised God when the promise came true. زكريا وأليصابات كانوا أبرار لكن شايلين وجع عدم وجود أولاد. وهو بيخدم في الهيكل، الملاك جبرائيل أعلن إن صلاتهم اتسمعت وإن يوحنا هيتولد يجهز الناس للرب. زكريا اتردد في الإيمان وأخد علامة مؤقتة، وبعدها مجد ربنا لما الوعد اتحقق.
