Read the passage slowly and follow the setting, conflict, response, and outcome. Notice how it teaches that Christ’s victory gives courage to resist evil without hatred or panic. God acts in real history: He reveals His Son, confronts evil, welcomes outsiders, heals bodies and souls, forms disciples, and calls people into repentance and love.
