Twelve leaders explored Canaan and returned with rich fruit. Ten magnified fortified cities and frightened the people, while Joshua and Caleb remembered God’s presence and urged faithful courage. The crowd wept, wanted to return to Egypt, and threatened the two witnesses who spoke hope.

The Bible Adventure

Twelve leaders explored Canaan and returned with rich fruit. Ten magnified fortified cities and frightened the people, while Joshua and Caleb remembered God’s presence and urged faithful courage. The crowd wept, wanted to return to Egypt, and threatened the two witnesses who spoke hope.

Read the passage slowly and notice the people’s words, choices, and consequences. The account teaches that faith sees real obstacles through the greater reality of God’s promise. God works truthfully within human history: He confronts evil, protects life, keeps covenant, and patiently calls people to trust and obedience.
